All rules are subject to change with or without notice.
If you committed an act that goes against a rule(s) before the “Last Updated” date, you are exempt only in that one instance.
By being in our community, you agree to adhere to our rules in their entirety.
Illegal Organizations- Please Ask Staff Before Starting Something
Gangs, Motorcycle Clubs, Mafia, Organizations, etc. are ALL the same to our staff team. We ask that you inform staff that you’re wanting to start something and we will help you get started. We will also give you a special Discord role for your illegal organization, such as “Steel Mafia” or “SlipKnack”- we allow all types of organizations!
We have some guidelines that must be met:
-1 leader with at least 2 members ready to join as your secondary and one regular member (makes it an organization and not just a partnership)
-Inform staff of the structure you wish to have
-If you wish to use a large business as a cover-up, such as a car dealership, you must allow your employees to opt out of being in your organization WITHOUT a penalty of any kind
-The activities your organization will conduct must not negatively impact the quality of RP
-If your organization does “bleeding in/out” of members, you cannot be within city limits or near a cop that can hear you. Simply put, if the cops show up, you violated this guideline. Go to jail after confessing and we will not punish you. Members that you bleed out cannot remember the bleed out event
-Organization leaders are responsible for stating to their members and our staff team what they can’t remember once they wake up from a bleed out
-Staff will disband any organization that causes problems for the server, such as repeated rule violations, not contributing quality RP, or other low-standard actions that go against our core mission of being a top tier community.
That’s it, really.
Illegal Organization Leaders must hold themselves to a high standard. They are the example of their group!
Failure to do so may result in your organization being disbanded.
Alliances Require Staff Approval
We don’t want a million organizations ganging up on one, so just clear with us what you want to do and we’ll decide if it’ll be fine or not.
Actively-Committed Crimes While 1 Cop Is On-Duty Must Have A Limited Party Size
In the same way as a cursor moves on a screen after you move the mouse on your desk, cops will always be at the disadvantage in a scenario where they must react to whatever the criminal wants. It will never be the other way around because cops are not allowed to instigate a situation.
In order to balance the situations a solo cop deals with, which will help the cop activity increase, we are restricting active crimes in a way where the number of people is limited to 2 cars for racing/car crimes (passengers must remain passive), and limited to 3 people for situations like selling drugs, running guns, etc.
Larger parties involved with crime may exist, but non-suspect members must remain passive and uninvolved- this is so you don’t make the situation worse by going from being not wanted to wanted, which is hard for a single cop to deal with. An example is if someone is stopped for something like a reported car jacking, do not run from the cops if you aren’t in the car being looked for.
Tip: If you’re going to do something that requires a large group, break into manageable groups and do something one small group at a time (such as racing- race 2 cars at a time so the other cars aren’t wanted immediately)
This rule was added to make being a cop more fun when there’s only one cop available. These limits are lifted when 2 or more cops clock in because there’s enough of a chance that situation could fall into their favor without the limits stated above. We want to ensure cop RP is fun for the first cop, enticing them to stay on long enough for another cop to hop on.
The limits above are not meant to restrict the types of RP that can happen- only the amount of people that would be wanted if caught in the act of doing such stuff.
Only the solo cop on duty can exempt the server from this rule & a staff member must be informed of the decision. The exemption only lasts until the solo officer goes off duty. If another officer hops on and the first one hops off, it is now up to the 2nd officer, same for any other shift changes that results in a solo cop situation.
Legal RP has no size limit at this time. Please explore various types of legal RP as a new way to have fun with a solo cop online.
Organizations Can’t Have Gunfights Without Actual RP
We are not a gang RP server, we are not a gun play server. RP first, shoot later. We are trying to allow gangs and other organizations to exist, please don’t ruin the RP with your organization. It will be disbanded.
Pursuits: Guidelines and Quality Control
Pursuits. They are a fun way to get your car out on the open road going as fast as possible without giving a damn. The cops are behind you and you’re playing a giant version of cat and mouse. In order to ensure the quality of RP stays high, we are going to outline the rules and guidelines below that both parties must follow during a police pursuit. This also applies to player/party vs player/party chases, the party actually chasing someone else must adhere to the police-based stuff.
The Criminal/Getting-Chased Party
-Don’t disregard damage- example: crashing into a barrier & driving off if it wouldn’t make sense
-Stunt jumps are limited if the jump is not large and your vehicle can handle it once or twice, no more than 3 regardless of the vehicle until after fixing it at a mechanic shop with a mechanic present (you’ll need a witness because you probably evaded by now)
-Do not disregard a pit maneuver!!! And do not engage in bumper cars. It’s very annoying for both parties, honestly.
The Police/Chaser Party
-Don’t disregard damage- example: crashing into a barrier & driving off if it wouldn’t make sense
-Stunt jumps are limited if the jump is not large and your vehicle can handle it once or twice, no more than 3 regardless of the vehicle until after fixing it at a mechanic shop with a mechanic present (unless you are a police officer fixing their car’s engine health with the cop menu so they can become a unit in the pursuit again- to be fair to the “mouse” party, by the time the cop’s car is fixed, they’ll have to catch up or count you as having evaded anyway)
-You must pass police training in order to do a pit maneuver. Also, do not engage in bumper cars. It’s very annoying for both parties, honestly.
-You must wait 5 minutes after the pursuit begins in order to engage in a pit maneuver
-Staff members have access to adjusting traffic density for all players & using the “Off” button is not allowed during a pursuit unless there is extreme lag in the server and it makes pitting otherwise impossible after 15 minutes since the pursuit started.
Cooldown/Evasion Period-Specific Rules & Guidelines
We need the timed-restrictions for executing detective work realistically.
(More on our detective enhancement plans in a future community announcement or development teaser)
-You cannot modify your vehicle’s license plate or change your clothes (mask removal is fine, or removing things like a vest, earrings, glasses, etc.) until your hour is up.
-You cannot go inside a building until after 10 minutes of evading. This allows cops a chance to search outside before issuing warrants to manhunt you.
-If you choose to hide inside of a building after 10 minutes, due to the nature of places like apartments having matching interiors and sometimes masking your location, there should be at least 3 decent clues for finding you present for our detectives to work with- word of mouth from others, social media posts, etc. (repeats of methods are allowed). If you choose to move from one interior to another, you need to provide new clues.
-If you hide outside during your cooldown, please provide at least one clue for your location. You must provide a new clue as you move about if the old one expires. By avoiding this, you make the detective RP virtually impossible to solve.
-You must be evaded from the cops for an entire real life hour for the cooldown to end. If you have to log off, your “timer” gets reset. Crashing/lagging out simply pauses your timer- we can tell the difference, so please be honest :)
-If the police/chaser party finds you again, the next pursuit must begin with all “timers” reset.
-If the cops pull you over, you cannot run away until they begin their felony stop procedure. You cannot assume you’re wanted until they clearly display that you are.
-This guideline may be altered in the future: For now, you may only use 3 cars during the cooldown period- your first one that cops know about, and 2 cars to swap into (these should be personal or rented because they won’t de-spawn, otherwise please don’t log off). This allows the cops a chance to actually find you and investigate crime scenes involving the last known car.
Please note that if there are multiple vehicles beyond 2 in a pursuit, please use your best judgement to determine what to do.
Cops & EMS MUST Remain Clean!
Rare traffic tickets will not get you fired. Corruption is NOT permitted here unless pre-approved by staff.
Undercover officers may join organizations, and any organization that takes in an officer cannot force the officer to commit a crime to “prove they’re not a cop” that involves injury or death- telling them to rob a bank is allowed, but telling them to kill someone is not. Officers will be made aware of the SAHP’s rules for performing undercover work prior to starting it.
Criminal activity for whitelist jobs:
At the moment if you are police, lawyer/attorney/judge, or EMS, you are not allowed to commit crimes. You are to stay clean. As a gang leader or independent criminal, car dealership owners may use their dealership as a cover up, but they must play fair with pricing, deals, etc. Mechanics and Vanilla Unicorn employees can participate in criminal activities (mechanics should refrain from frequent & serious crimes). And lastly, mechanics must play fair with pricing.
If a job is not listed in the paragraph above, it's fair-game if you RP as a criminal.
