How many homes or apartments can I own or rent at once?

You can only have 2 at a time. Please seek staff approval if you wish to RP as a landlord. Tenants and landlords must work together to create a fair experience.

We ask that you limit yourself to 1 or 2 if you aren’t going to be a landlord. This prevents unwanted hoarding and unfair roleplay.

Can I build stuff? How do I become a builder?

Despite what the game name “Minecraft” implies, we are a ROLEPLAY world, not just a building world. You can be a construction worker in real life and make quite a bit doing it. However, in Jaguar City, we discourage the idea of everyone becoming a builder in RP. Instead, we encourage job diversity & realism.

We also have a storyline for how the city was developed (city lore), making buildings that may have been built last month IRL into structures that existed as far back as the 1960s in RP. Cities don't go up overnight like Nascar's Sandtin project thing was supposed to.

Luckily, for those who truly think their character should be a construction worker in-game, there is a license you can apply for at the Jaguar City Licensing Office located in the Lexton-Dae Shopping Center. Relative to our currency, being a builder won’t pay as well as you think.

How much do I get paid?

The Rules of How Jobs & Payrates In Jaguar City Work

• You will get in-game currency for performing your job in-game.

• You can only get paid if you play on a given day for at least 30 minutes. AFK/non-RP time will be factored out.

• While you don’t have to be in an active scene for 30 minutes straight, you do need to participate in roleplaying your job (solo or with others) for at least 20 of those 30 minutes.

• Pay rates are based on a real life day-to-day basis, NOT an in-game day-to-day basis. This is to prevent inflation & to make it easier on staff.

• These are the payrates:

  • Class 6=$2000/Day

  • Class 5=$5000/Day

  • Class 4=$7000/Day

  • Class 3=$20000/Day

  • Class 2=$35000/Day

  • Class 1=$70000/Day

    These rates are subject to change. You may get paid on a daily basis or we may stack payments.

The Jaguar City Citizen Class System

1. Everyone starts in Class 6 (Unless promoted manually under certain circumstances).

2. The idea is to gradually promote towards Class 1.

3. Low Jobs are available to Classes 1-6, Middle Jobs are available to Classes 1-4, and High Jobs are available to Classes 1-2.

4. Pay is based on a player's class, not their job. This encourages everyone to do what they want because they enjoy it, not solely because of one job’s better payrate.

   How do I buy something?

   You will use this website to shop and buy stuff in-game, or you can do it with the “brick ‘n mortar” stores in-game.

   Do I input my real stuff into this website?

   NO! NEVER USE REAL INFORMATION!

   Please only use your roleplay credentials provided by staff or by a form of roleplay. While staff and I may be the only ones to ever see any information provided by you, we seriously do NOT want anything real and legit that could be intercepted by a person with malicious intent.

   For this reason, we will never ask for anything beyond a card number that was provided to you for roleplay use only.
