All rules are subject to change with or without notice.

If you committed an act that goes against a rule(s) before the “Last Updated” date, you are exempt only in that one instance.

By being in our community, you agree to adhere to our rules in their entirety.

Global Policies For Exclusive Jobs

If a person is assigned the role of MANAGER or higher at a private business, they must be provided with full access to the business’s functions. The Assistant Owner role is entirely optional to assign.

If you have an exclusive job, please follow your job-specific rules and guidelines at all times. For time off requests and guidance for how to allocate your RP time to any and all jobs you currently hold on any character, please speak to a qualified supervisor of your job or our staff team.

Failure to RP on your exclusive job characters on-duty will result in either punishments as determined by the job's SOP or your termination from that job due to abandoning it.

SAHP, BCSO, LSSD, LSPD

You must follow all of the rules of your Standard Operating Procedure. You will be held responsible for failing to follow the SOP and certain actions may lead to termination, being kicked/banned for FailRP, or other consequences.

Mandatory Policy for All Police Officers:

ALL POLICE OFFICERS MUST RP LEGALLY WHEN OFF-DUTY UNLESS PRE-APPROVED BY STAFF, IN COMPLIANCE WITH OUR LIMITED CORRUPTION TOLERANCE SEEN THROUGHOUT OUR OTHER RULES & POLICIES. UNDERCOVER OPERATIONS THAT REQUIRE "BLENDING IN" WITH CRIMINAL CIVILIANS BREAKING THE LAW IS THE ONLY TIME THAT BREAKING THIS RULE WILL BE EXCUSED WITHOUT PRIOR STAFF APPROVAL.

Specifics for Police Supervisors:

1. Please do not drive "Last Resort" vehicles unless the RP scenario requires you to get one to end an active and dangerous situation.

2. Please do not harass civilians with back-to-back traffic stops over minor infractions.

3. In efforts to reduce potential support tickets with staff, it is 100% recommended to waive impound fees for Lost & Found, and it is up to the highest-ranking on-duty supervisor to decide if any more severe impound penalty is able to be waived.

4. Vehicles possessed by officers must be “turned in” if the rank or task you possess or perform no longer allows access to it. This is in place as a rule in case of demotion or termination from the SAHP. Staff reserves the right to delete any and all police vehicles, in your possession, in compliance with this rule.

Car Dealership

This privately-owned industry may NOT cheat the systems by misusing tools, abusing negotiation prices, etc. as outlined by your employer's rules (written or not). There are several tracking methods used to detect and identify potential cheating, so please don't try to cheat. You will be flagged and potentially removed from your job or even kicked/banned from Creative Life RP if caught abusing our car dealership system.

Furthermore, owners of dealerships (and managers with permission approved by the respective dealership owner) may only ban characters (not the player) if the RP properly presents a reasonable opportunity to add a dealership ban to the overall CLRP storyline. In-character bans are not to last more than 3 weeks due to the nature of what the car dealerships mean to the economy and RP ecosystem, and staff reserves the right to adjust or eliminate bans if deemed to be unfair.

Due to dealerships being a safe zone:

-Owners and their employees must use law enforcement to remove any banned characters from the dealership. This is to encourage non-violent RP.

-Banned characters must comply without retaliation via the use of weapons. If no officers are available, the banned person must comply with verbal requests from anyone on-duty as a dealership associate and leave.

-Violence & weapon usage of any kind will be deemed as an infraction against the safezone rule. Dealership associates may aim a weapon, shooting violates the safezone rule. We advise against aiming/displaying, but it is not “using it” until it’s discharged to any extent.

EMS

You must follow all of the rules of your Standard Operating Procedure. You will be held responsible for failing to follow the SOP and certain actions may lead to termination, being kicked/banned for FailRP, or other consequences. DOAing a character must be approved by staff prior to the roleplay scene.

Mechanic

You must follow all of the rules of your Standard Operating Procedure. You will be held responsible for failing to follow the SOP and certain actions may lead to termination, being kicked/banned for FailRP, or other consequences. This is a private business, but it must be fair to all players as it is a service used by the public.

DO NOT PERFORM MODIFICATIONS VIA A MECHANIC ORDER TICKET IN THE PRESENCE OF THE CUSTOMER(S).

The mechanics must wait a realistic amount of time before performing the mods on a vehicle. The customer should have to come back at least 10 hours later (game-time), preferably the next day. Parts that would normally take days to ship require 24 game hours minimum. The customer must disclose what the mod ticket contains with honesty and integrity. Exploiting this rule is bannable (i.e. “I only have rims in the ticket” suddenly the car gets completely modded)

Taxi

You must follow all of the rules of your Standard Operating Procedure. You will be held responsible for failing to follow the SOP and certain actions may lead to termination, being kicked/banned for FailRP, or other consequences.

Government Leadership

You must follow all of the rules of your Standard Operating Procedure. You will be held responsible for failing to follow the SOP and certain actions may lead to termination, being kicked/banned for FailRP, or other consequences.

Also, do not RP corrupt government personnel in any way, shape or form without prior staff permission. Minor traffic violations are ok if rare and infrequent. You will risk losing your job. Furthermore, it is found to be a reasonable car that the police can handle chasing
