All rules are subject to change with or without notice.

If you committed an act that goes against a rule(s) before the “Last Updated” date, you are exempt only in that one instance.

By being in our community, you agree to adhere to our rules in their entirety.

Important Ratios To Follow:

Jewelry Store: We require 2 cops to be present (the server is coded this way) in order for a single criminal to rob the jewelry store. The “Banks” clause will go over the rest of the guidelines.

Bank Trucks: 2 cops minimum, number of suspects + 1 = required cop count, max of 4 suspects once the truck’s bomb is activated. A 5th person may help with killing the guards and must leave UNLESS one of the 4 members of the main team dies while killing guards. Do not exceed the limit, the officers will see the bodies on the ground.

Banks: 2 cops minimum, number of suspects + 1 = required cop count, max of 4 suspects, 1 may be the outside shooter.

Stores: 1 cop minimum, 1 suspect vs 1 cop is allowed, otherwise follow the ratio for Banks

Regardless of the scene being a store robbery, bank heist or bank robbery, 1 hostage per 3 cops, limit 2 hostages. We recommend saving hostages for heists within stores and banks due to the nature of a bank truck heist.

Don’t Rob Your Friends/Allies!

You wouldn't rob your friend & "inside jobs" are NOT allowed. This WILL result in a ban and the owner will lose their store.

Don’t Give Large Rewards To Victims!

Keep the bribes limited to $1000 or 1-2 jewels. Hostages cannot ask for more, criminals cannot offer more than this amount, and victims are allowed to choose whether or not to accept the bribe. Killing a hostage that did not take your bribe is not allowed, but wounding is. Taking the bribe and then ratting out the criminal is allowed at your own risk.

You Can Only Mug Someone Once Every 2 In-Game Days

(Max $10K of Clean Cash + Max of $10K of Dirty Cash)

During a player robbery, the robber is ONLY allowed up to $10K of each type of money found on you. The entire robber party is bound to the limit as a group if such party exists. The mugger can use zip-ties and either /steal or left alt/3rd eye > Steal Stuff on the victim. A notification each time you take money from a player will be provided to aid your ability to comply with this rule.

To comply with the Value Your Assets rule, players should NOT carry around more than $10,000 dollars in cash and more than $10,000 in dirty cash unless there is a specific purpose for doing so, such as modifying your car, claiming store funds, and so on.

Because we want to ensure a happy experience, following this rule will allow you to financially hurt someone without going overboard. It will also stop others from going overboard.

In the event the robber is not able to receive the amount demanded, available items (with the strict exception of mandatory food & drinks as well as medical kits- these items CANNOT be stolen for ANY reason) can be given away to compensate for the lack of money. This is considered compliance, do not hurt the player!

Unless the victim is taking their fair chances against the robber (bluffing or refusing), the victim MUST hand over the demanded assets to correctly roleplay this type of robbery. Furthermore, please refer to the Value of Life and Value the Lives of Others rules for figuring out if the choice of not complying is viable & how both sides should handle this choice.

Do Not Abuse Zip-Ties!

Anyone who zip-ties a player must also have a knife or switchblade in order to free the victim. Violators of this rule will be seen as Failing to Roleplay properly. Also, do NOT zip-tie anyone you are directly robbing unless you are going to take them hostage for another scene!

Other Actions That Are Classified As “Powergaming”

  • Kidnap folk or hold them at gunpoint on an hourly/daily basis

  • Fail to wait at least 24 minutes (1/2 a GTA day) before robbing someone else in a completely different region (Downtown, Pillbox, Davis, etc.)

  • Fail to wait 48 minutes (1 GTA day) before robbing the same person again regardless of location, or someone else in the same region as the original robbery.

  • Rob a bank every 5 or so minutes- We have a global timer, first come, first serve

  • Rob the same bank within 96 minutes of the previous attempt (2 GTA Days).

  • Harm someone in a way and then tell them in OOC that they must RP the injury in a different way than how the in-game scripts caused it to play out.

  • Harm someone a minor way (based on health) and inform them that they died or went unconscious in OOC chat.

  • Roleplay actions or instructions that you claim to have received from a NPC (kill, hurt, or shoot someone, etc. )

  • Roleplay having a weapon on you that you do not actually have from a gun shop or other script-based source

  • Search a vehicle inventory and role play seeing a weapon or item without roleplaying the search and location of the weapon or item.

  • Attempt to rob or take someone hostage if a party / formal gathering has more than 5 players.

  • In the specific case of home robberies or robberies in a place that requires time to load in, if they exist, you can NOT immediately shoot anyone that enters the location. You must give them some time for their character to load in, and to allow for interaction between police and robbers.

  • Kidnap more than 2 people for any scenario. You should only kidnap one person for every 1-2 criminals in your group.

  • Other rules have been put in place to further limit groups sizes in order to make scenarios easier to manage, so unless otherwise stated, all player gatherings, formal or informal, should never exceed 3 times the amount of cops present on the server at a given time if the gathering is in excess of 10 people.

No Fake Hostages.

This means do not pick a crew member/alliance member or a friend to fake being the hostage.

Do NOT have a designated hostage or victim for every scene.

Find a random victim or don't have one at all. Do NOT schedule your victims- you must randomly choose & you should attempt to find at least 8 different victims to comply with this rule.

In the case of mugging players, you MUST rob at least 2 unique people before any repeats are allowed to occur. If more than one person is robbing someone with you, the rule applies to your party and its members regardless of who’s rolling with who or if anyone goes solo afterwards.

Also, ALL hostages & victims are to be let go after each scene. They cannot participate as the hostage or victim of the next 2 robberies/crimes you or any your group member(s) commit.

This rule is designed to protect victims from being victimized constantly in order to create a more natural & fair experience for all players.

Do NOT kill a compliant hostage or victim for ANY REASON.

Wounding is NEVER allowed either.

Do NOT victimize police officers (on or off duty)

(Unless 3 or more other officers are on duty and are available to respond)

Whether or not you or your group is unaware that your victim is a police officer, you must let the officer go & the officer should report the situation instead of handling it themselves, as they are off the clock. Optionally, officers are allowed to point a service weapon, but should not shoot it, as this is meant to intimidate the criminal(s) into leaving before escalation occurs. Regardless of a service weapon being drawn, criminals should flee away from the scene, as they are up against a trained police officer that can potentially receive assistance. Criminals should ID their victimized police officer & the officer should provide their ID to prove they’re really an officer.

If 3 or more officers are on-duty and are available to respond:

If the criminal(s) choose not to flee regardless of cop count, an opportunity to report the situation must be given in order to call for help. Once the officer calls for help, you are allowed to treat the situation as if it’s just another type of hostage situation. The cop must become a regular victim.

If no more than 3 officers are on-duty and available to respond:

The scene needs to end with the criminals leaving and the officer must be let go unharmed. All assets that may have been taken must be returned promptly. Regardless of who you are in this case, GO YOUR SEPARATE WAYS WITHOUT ANY KIND OF LOSS OR GAIN. The officer should be able to place a warrant out if the suspect is identifiable without any retaliation.

PD can DENY demands only with a supervisor's permission. Both parties must agree on reasonable demands.

This means you CANNOT kill the victim if the PD is seemingly "not compliant" when they really are trying to cooperate.

Please Do Not Have A 20+ Minute Stand-Off

Roleplaying a stand-off is fine, but either party should eventually make a move to progress the RP further.

Furthermore:

-Please don’t shoot the officer deploying tear gas or trying to fly their taser-enabled drone into the location

-Always have a “side” of your character that will surrender if the police are being effective. Officers are trained to de-escalate the situation, refusing to comply with everything causes stand-offs, so bear that in mind when choosing to refuse something as the suspect.

-Officers should use their training to de-escalate the scenario, but they may need to listen to the criminal to reach that point. Refusing to comply with everything causes stand-offs, so bear that in mind when choosing to refuse something as an officer.

-Be creative- NO LOCATION WE OFFER ROBBERIES AT IS DESIGNED FOR “JUST A SHOOTOUT OR SURRENDER” OR “JUST A CAR CHASE OR SURRENDER”- THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS! Please don’t rig the outcomes, although spike strips are allowed if they’re feasible.

Do NOT roleplay as a fake law enforcement officer unless approved by staff.

Staff reserves the right to deny requests. Please ask in the out of character chat prior to wearing a cop uniform as a criminal civilian. Off-duty officers are not allowed to be in uniform.
